There is many networking/computer schools in Canada/US, the most famous one should be BCIT. But beside it, there's still some small ones laying around. I'll introduce the the 2 big ones. (except Universities). They are CompTIA and BCIT.
Both CompTIA offers more hand-on experience on networking. BCIT offers some all-in-one diploma for computer field with networking as part of it and CompTIA offers a bundle of separate programs around all major operating systems. For example Linux, Win9x/NT/200(MCSE), A+, Network+, iNet+, Novell ... ... etc.
